“Mallard House was perfect for a little family getaway.. It’s been updated recently and was super clean. Best part of the weekend was relaxing and watching the water through the wall of windows in the sunroom with morning coffee. Kitchen is stocked with the basics and the owners were kind enough to leave some microwave popcorn. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were stocked with soap. Shampoo & conditioner. “The property was top notch. The pictures don’t do it justice. We had 8 adults who slept in the property and 2 that stayed in an RV with their teenagers in the circle drive. There was plenty of room for our other 4 cars in the driveway, and my sister and her family could have stayed in the house with us but they were traveling through and decided to just stay in their RV. There was so much to do for everyone! We enjoyed the outside games by the grill and Blackstone while watching football……

“We checked in late at night and they claimed their cc machine was not working. They made us pay $100 incidental fee in cash. We had no option. In the morning they added "extra" fees to our stay and refused to give us back our entire cash deposit. Very disappointing and criminal. The room conditions were just terrible.”
